Many times- navigating through disappointments, distractions, discouragements, frustration, recurrent sins and the hustle and bustle that is now life; can be a quite arduous task (especially when we think we need to fight alone.) Life has a way of giving us a false sense of independence and a sense of loneliness, even with an existing relationship with God. Most Christians avoid speaking about their battles because of how perfect Christianity has been painted out to be and eventually slip away because they fail to easily attain that “perfection.”
Maintaining a relationship with God goes beyond talking to him when we feel like and asking Him for help when we need Him but also battling to maintain the relationship even when we don’t feel motivated to and can’t feel His presence.
There’s less and less encouraging Christian content on the net now and more “perfect” contents idolizing the idea of perfect Christianity. More “a day in the life of-” and “my Christian day-to-day routine” than contents on “True Christianity” and “how to overcome common sins.”
